BEATBOX BEVERAGES
As a big fan of product collaborations, I decided to bring the idea of a collaboration between Beatbox and EDC Music Festival to life. Inspired by and closely following the brand aesthetics of both companies, I made a mockup of the product, complete with custom iconography and logos! I also included the fun and silly Peeps x Beatbox collab I created for April Fools Day.
NUOVO SUONO MUSIC FEST
Nuovo Suono is a conceptual music festival in Miami I wanted to create marketing assets for as a design exercise. The branding choices, from the logo to the color palette, were designed to evoke fun, warmth, and energy. The Nuovo Suono souvenir book even includes some of my event photography. ABOVE & BEYOND ANNOUNCEMENTS
Above & Beyond are easily amongst my top favorite music producers. Like all musicians, they constantly have announcements for tours, shows, record releases etc. I thought it would be an interesting project to create press releases/announcements in the likeness of album covers. It definitely made sharing these on feeds feel more personal.
DOWNFORCE
The mission here was to create a logo for a conceptual futuristic racing game as well as a social media graphic to go along with it. The first step in designing this logo and social media graphic was deciding what direction the graphic design aesthetic would go in. I knew that the subject matter was futuristic high speed racing but the main decision that had to be made was to define just how futuristic I wanted the racing to be. Upon doing some research looking at images for inspiration, I decided to go with a look reminiscent of high tech racing that is grounded with real-world modern technology. Therefore, I went with a more cybernetic (retro) tech-punk theme instead of a future holo prototype-tech theme.
DESAYUNO
Desayuno! Spanish for “Breakfast”! In this design study, I set out to breathe life into a conceptual Mexican breakfast/brunch restaurant. Everything from the menu design to the silverware accents was designed to be a vibrant celebration of Mexican culture. With the festive charm of papel picado accents and thoughtfully curated color applications, the concept not only brings morning meals to the forefront but also immerses patrons in a cultural experience that radiates the spirit of Mexico.
POKEMON LOTERIA
A vintage card game from Mexico just got a reboot. This iconic card game has entertained families and people and of all ages for years. A game that is played similarly to Bingo, this card game requires different characters and objects to be called out in order to fill out each player’s cards. Although the rules in the game may change, there is one that stays the same. You’ve Gotta Catch ‘Em All!
EXTRAGALCTIC
With the ever-growing legalized cannabis industry nationwide in mind, I created a brand and packaging concept for Pre-Rolls. The goal was to create something minimal, eye catching, and fun. With a wide array of products available now to the general public, it was important to use a logo and color palettes that not only reinforced the fun minimalist aspect of the product, but that also allowed the product to stand out from the rest on storefront shelves.
COSMIC TYPE
Inspired by space aesthetics, this manual-like typography specimen book was created in order to display the design guidelines that NASA implements aboard spaceships and aircraft. It's an aspect of design that could be overlooked by the general population, but for astronauts it means life or death. Quickly reading labels on switches, latches, buttons and levers in deep space is crucial for crew effectiveness and task completion. You can be certain that spaceships or jets aren't piloted or maintained with a singular button, best to have a guide like this in hand.
